1. How do I enable pop-ups for the APTA Learning Center in my Internet browser?

You will need to enable the following site in order to use the Learning Center: http://learningcenter.apta.org/

The ability to modify settings for pop-up windows varies from browser to browser. Below are links to instructions on how to modify settings for commonly used Internet browsers.

Problems Using Your Office Computer?

If you are still having trouble accessing the APTA Learning Center after enabling http://learningcenter.apta.org/ in your pop-up blocker, you may want to contact your IT department and see if your organization has a company-wide pop-up blocker in place. If so, your IT department should be able to assist you in accessing the APTA Learning Center.

2. How do I access courses and learning events with an Apple computer?

The Learning Center enrollment system/APTA's online store is compatible Apple computers. To enroll in a course, click the "Purchase Now" link beneath the course title. Ensure you've enable learningcenter.apta.org in your pop-up blocker settings.

3. How do I log in to the APTA Learning Center?
  • Enter your username and password
    • NOTE: Use the same username and password that you use for the APTA Web site.
  • Click underneath the username/password fields.
    • You will receive the confirmation message "Success! You are now logged into the site."
    • Select "Click here to continue to be redirected to the page you came from.

-OR-

  • Click login from the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
    • Enter your username and password as prompted.
    • NOTE: Use the same username and password that you use for the APTA Web site.
  • Click underneath the username/password fields.
  • You will receive the confirmation message "Success! You are now logged into the site.
    • Go to http://www.apta.org/learningcenter, or select Access the Home page," then go to the APTA Learning Center via
      Professional Development > Continuing Education Courses.

In order to utilize the personalized CEU transcript feature in the APTA Learning Center, it is essential that you purchase or register for courses in the APTA Learning Center using only one account. 4. What is the My Courses page?

The My Courses page is your personal learning page and contains many features to assist you with managing your learning activities. It is easily accessible from the left-hand navigation and requires login.

From My Courses you can:

  • View your current course status
  • Launch your courses
  • Claim CEU credit and print a certificate of completion (to award CEUs where appropriate).
  • View your APTA Learning Center course transcript.
5. Why is the Course Status column not reflecting the correct information on the My Courses page?

In order for your course status to remain up to date on your My Courses page, you must exit the course using the Exit button  , found in the lower, right-hand corner of the screen. This button contains special programming that simultaneously sends your updated status to the My Courses page as it closes the course window.

If you exited out of the course without using the Exit button:

  • Launch the course again by clicking on the course title on the My Courses page.
  • Exit out of the course using the Exit button  , found in the lower, right-hand corner of the screen.
  • Your course status should now be updated.
6. I lost my CEU Certificate, how can I obtain another copy?

You can print additional copies of your CEU certificate at any time via the My Coursespage:

  1. From My Courses, click the Expand/Collapse icon next to the course title to expand the course detail:



  1. Click the Print Certificate link available from within the course detail.

7. I forgot my login/password. How do I retrieve it?
If youve forgotten your password, click here to have it emailed to you OR contact 800/999-2782, ext 3395, for assistance.

8. How can I register for multiple courses at once?

The Learning Center is designed to allow for registration of one course at a time. However, it is possible to register for multiple courses at once by doing the following:

  • Click the Purchase Now link and the online store will pop open in a new window.
  • Click the Add to Shopping Cart button.
  • Minimize or close the online store window
  • Click the Purchase Now link for another course.
  • In the online store window, click the Add to Shopping Cart button.
  • This process can be repeated until you are ready to check out.
