Childhood Obesity: Physical Therapy Strategies for Pediatric Weight Control

This course identifies health conditions and contextual factors of health as they relate to childhood obesity, influence disability, and functioning using the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health model. You will be able to define obesity and discuss terminology used to classify weight status in children and adolescents, discuss the etiology of childhood obesity and associated health conditions, and identify factors for successful PT patient/client management of childhood obesity.
