Sessions Objectives

Following the presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Recognize the microstructure and matrix of tendons
  2. Understand the dynamics of the load strain mechanism on tendons
  3. Recognize the sonographic echotexture of a normal tendon
  4. Recognize the sonographic signature of disease processes within a tendon
  5. Competently scan a common tendon with confidence
