Course Description: 

This course equips physical therapy educators with the knowledge and skills to effectively integrate educational technology into their teaching practices. Participants will explore current trends and best practices in educational technology for physical therapy education. Evaluation and selection of appropriate digital tools and platforms to enhance learning outcomes in traditional, blended, and online environments.

1. Describe current trends in educational technology in health professions education.

2. Identify common pitfalls in educational technology use.
3. Analyze instructional technology tools across instructional purposes: content delivery, active learning, and assessment.
4. Apply a decision-making framework to intentionally integrate educational technology into a learning event.
