This course explains how different emergencies create distinctive rehabilitation needs. Through this two-day lecture, the presenter leads you through the steps needed to develop an "all hazard" rehabilitation preparedness plan and trains you in the clinical and interpersonal skills needed to work in an emergency. This is important, as during an international emergency, identifying who you can work with and what you should and should not do is crucial to effectively delivering health services. This course also prepares you for the varying roles a physical therapist faces and how to overcome challenges.
