Claire Davies, PT, Claire Davies is a research consultant at Baptist Health Lexington, Lexington Kentucky. She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with her Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree, England; T-DPT from Simmons College, Boston and earned her PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Kentucky. She has over 25 years of clinical experience in manual therapy, orthopedics and oncology rehabilitation. Additionally, she is a certified lymphedema therapist. Dr. Davies current research interest is primarily in clinical applications in oncology, clinical practice guidelines and outcome measures.

- Upon completion of this course the learner will be able to discuss interventions intended to reduce lymphedema risk in patients with breast cancer. the role of rehabilitation in the hospice and palliative care settings.
- The learner will be able to identify appropriate evidence-based breast cancer related lymphedema interventions specific to the stage and severity of lymphedema.
- The learner will be able to identify interventions targeting the core impairments of increased interstitial fluid and volume of the upper extremity as a direct impact of breast cancer related lymphedema.
