This course is one out of six course offerings in the Brain Injury Certificate Series.
Learning Objectives:
- Will be able to define neuroplasticity.
- Will be able to identify basic motor learning principles.
- Understand how to use the concept of AIM (attention, intensity and motivation) to tailor your treatment interventions for brain injury rehabilitation.
- Understand the difference between therapeutic and bedside transfers.
- Be aware of available research on brain injury rehabilitation and understand how the findings may impact the structure of your treatment interventions in the IPR setting.
