This course provides a comprehensive overview of the APTA’s latest digital health resources, foundational paper, practice guidelines, transparency initiatives, and advocacy efforts. Participants will gain practical insights into integrating digital technologies into clinical practice while aligning with professional standards and advancing patient outcomes.

- Identify the APTA Standards of Practice related to digital care and their implications for clinical practice.
- Describe key elements from The Digitally Enabled Physical Therapist: An APTA Foundational Paper and their relevance to current and future practice models.
- Explain APTA’s Digital Health Transparency Campaign and how it supports informed decision-making.

Caroline "CJ" Morrow, PT, DPT, CPHQ, serves as a Clinical Quality Senior Analyst at Hinge Health. She champions the principle that physical therapists should practice at the top of their license scope, with technology as a catalyst for personalizing patient care. As part of the quality team, CJ develops AI-powered prompts and assistants that enhance her clinical data analysis, quality monitoring, and patient experience assessments. She also monitors the quality of AI assistance provided to the Hinge Health care team, ensuring optimal integration of technology in clinical practice.
As Co-Chair of the Frontiers in Rehabilitation, Science and Technology Member Engagement Group, she advocates for responsible AI integration in physical therapy practice. CJ's distinctive perspective blends clinical expertise with quality management experience from both Hinge Health and Johnson & Johnson, positioning her at the intersection of physical therapy, technology, and healthcare innovation.
Julie Mulcahy

Dr. Julie Mulcahy PT, DPT, CAPP OB received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from University of Michigan. For the past 20+ years she has specialized in orthopedics, sports medicine and women's health. She obtained her Certificate of Achievement in Pregnancy and Postpartum Physical Therapy (CAPP OB) in 2021 and her LAMP Institute for Leadership Certificate in Healthcare in 2023. Her passion is leveraging technology and digital tools in improving patient engagement, access and outcomes for chronic health conditions. She is Senior Clinical Program Manager at Omada Health and has been treating patients exclusively with telehealth since 2019 and manages a nationwide network of virtual PT's. She has presented on use of technology in the rehabilitation sciences at the American Physical Therapy Association and American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine on the national and international level. She was a published author for Choose PT and has research in the area of exercise/weight management and several health and fitness publications. She was formerly an adjunct faculty member in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Baker College.
Anna DeLaRosby

Anna DeLaRosby, PT, DPT is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy, has earned the Certificate in Healthcare Leadership through the APTA's Lamp Leadership Institute, and holds extensive expertise in telehealth and digital rehabilitation. Currently, DeLaRosby serves as the Clinical Program Manager at Physera Physical Therapy Group, where she oversees programs that have achieved first-in-industry telehealth accreditation. Since joining Physera, she has played a pivotal role in developing one of the first nationwide telehealth-only practices, utilizing technology and data-informed decision making to transform healthcare. DeLaRosby has co-authored papers and presented courses on telehealth physical therapy, significantly contributing to the discourse on effective use of digital health tools to improve patient experience. Her leadership and insights into advancing physical therapy practices have established her as a key figure in healthcare innovation. Beyond her clinical role, DeLaRosby is an accomplished consultant, educator, and manager, known for her commitment to people development, enhancing employee experience, and continuous learning—all fueled by her passion for great coffee.
