This one-day course will assist accredited, candidate and developing residency and fellowship programs with implementing the most innovative  strategies while remaining in compliance with accreditation standards in 2023. This course will offer alternative ways to enhance residency and fellowship curriculums, mentoring, faculty development and administrative changes. This course will have content valuable to established programs looking to exceed accreditation expectations and will offer a pathway for new and developing programs who are preparing for initial site visits. The speakers and participants will have the unique opportunity to discuss areas of the accreditation process, such as curriculum and mentoring, as well as mentor training. This interactive and engaging course will combine presentations with round table discussion to meet the course objectives. Come and learn from colleagues who are program directors and active in the accreditation process!

Course Instructions

1. Click on the Contents tab to find the post-learning assessment.
2. Click the Take Quiz button to complete the assessment. Learners will have 3 attempts to pass and must answer at least 70% of questions correctly.
3. Click Fill Out Survey under the Evaluation listing to provide valuable course feedback. Scroll down on all questions as there may be answer options that expand past the size of the window.
4. Click the View/Print Your Certificate button under the Certificate listing. You can view/print your certificate at any time by visiting the APTA Learning Center and clicking the CEU Certificate/Transcript link on the left-hand side of the page.
