This two part course includes an audio roundtable, with experienced and knowledgeable presenters reviewing topics such as laws and regulations related to health care fraud and abuse. Interactive case vignettes drawn from real-world situations illustrate types of Medicare fraud or abuse involving physical therapy services.

Course Instructions

Welcome to the course! Please follow the instructions below to download the PowerPoint slides, play the presentation with audio, and use the handouts for note-taking.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Download the PowerPoint Slides:
    • Click on the provided link to download the PowerPoint presentation file (PPTX).
    • Save the file to your computer.
  2. Open the PowerPoint Presentation:
    • Locate the downloaded PPTX file on your computer.
    • Double-click the file to open it in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  3. Play the Presentation:
    • In PowerPoint, go to the Slide Show tab.
    • Click on From Beginning to start the presentation.
    • Ensure your speakers or headphones are connected and the volume is turned up.
  4. Manually Advance the Slides:
    • As you listen to the audio, manually advance the slides by pressing the Right Arrow key or clicking the Next Slide button.
    • Take your time to understand the content on each slide before moving to the next one.
  5. Use the Handouts for Note-Taking:
    • Download the handouts provided in the course materials.
    • Print the handouts or open them on your device.
    • Use the space provided to take notes as you go through the presentation.

Tips for a Smooth Experience:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft PowerPoint installed.
  • If you encounter any issues with the audio, check your device's sound settings.
  • Feel free to pause the presentation at any time to review the content or take notes.
