This updated course is designed for PTs, PTAs, and students and provides an overview of PTA education, scope of practice, supervision requirements, and the PT-PTA collaborative care model. Participants will explore strategies for effective communication, delegation, mentorship, and professional development to strengthen teamwork and optimize patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives:
After completing this module, you will be able to:
- Describe the roles and responsibilities of the PT and PTA within the clinical relationship.
- Describe the educational requirements and minimum skill sets required of a PTA.
- Describe the patient/client management activities PTAs may or may not perform.
- Apply appropriate supervision practices for PTAs based on established standards and clinical considerations.
- Explain strategies to mentor PTAs and support their professional development and career advancement.
Course Instructions
