APTA has worked with ORCHA (Organization for the Review of Care and Health Apps) to launch a digital health app formulary available to APTA members. The formulary contains apps reviewed against the USDHAF (US Digital Health Assessment Framework), and serves as a guide for physical therapy providers. The selection of apps for inclusion in the formulary is based on various factors, such as data and privacy, clinical assurance and safety, usability and accessibility, and technical security and stability.

Learning objectives of this training session include:

• What is ORCHA?
• Why partner with ORCHA?
• Practical understanding of the ORCHA-APTA Digital Health App Formulary
• Explanation of the app assessment framework
• Tips on how to best utilize this formulary in your practice

Course Instructions

1. Click on the Contents tab to watch the course recording.
2. Click on the Resources tab for the PowerPoint slides. 
3. Click on Survey to provide valuable course feedback. Scroll down on all questions as there may be answer options that expand past the size of the window.
4. Click the View/Print Your Certificate button under the Certificate listing. You can view/print your certificate at any time by visiting the APTA Learning Center and clicking the CEU Certificate/Transcript link on the left-hand side of the page.
