Discuss how Physical Therapy Clinic owners must manage Human Resources. Speaker Dr. Ben Fung gives a brief summary of all of Chapter 5 of the “How to Manual” and reviews topics such as general requirements for compliance, payroll, recruiting, hiring, and employee handbooks. But then Ben takes a deeper dive and a look at hiring, and teamwork, and culture and why that is important for any business. He then discusses Management and supervision and the power balances between those situations that can occur. And finally, he wraps up with a good piece on conflict resolution and brings things full circle by talking about transparency, openness, and communication while summarizing the discussion and giving three key action steps the listener can take away and implement.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
-identify categorical combinations of turnover risk; and, how to turn the ship around from “losing less” to “winning more”
-orient Team Excellence as a true north in the game of supervisorial angst
-use “the sweet spot” to key in on common ground for forward moving conflict resolution
