This course is scheduled for February 25, 2024.
Course level: Beginner
For most of our businesses, the demand for our services outweighs our capacity and the biggest limitation is staffing. We need to recruit and retain top-notch people to meet the needs of our communities and grow our organizations. In this session, we will walk through a overview of typical current ways in which we measure overall business health and the missed opportunity of not including people metrics in our dashboards. We will outline some of the more common employee experience measures you might track and how. This includes some "standard" measures like eNPS and turnover rate, as well as more seemingly subjective measures like happiness and joy in work. Participants will be inspired to consider the value and impact of measuring their employee experience and leave with an understanding of simple and more complicated ways in which to do so.
Upon completion of this webinar, participants should be able to:
- Understand the importance of measuring the employee experience.
- Identify at least one way in which you can measure employee experience.
- Be inspired to measure your employee experience in some way and commit to the next steps.
Lori Dillon, MPA
Chief People Officer
Therapeutic Associates Inc
Lori joined the Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy team in 2006 after starting her career in non-profit arts administration and as a professional performer. She is currently Therapeutic Associates’ Chief People Officer, collaborating with teammates in HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and People Analytics to ensure that the experience of the people of the organization thrives alongside the financial, operational and customer experience aspects of overall organizational health. In addition to tracking more "traditional" data points to measure this experience over time, Lori and her team led Therapeutic Associates through a year-long, research-supported journey to formally measure "joy in work" starting in 2023. In 2012, Lori completed her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Washington. In her free time, she enjoys reading and cooking, hanging out with her husband, family and friends, patronizing the arts, and cheering for her beloved Green Bay Packers.
