Cervicogenic headach and Post-traumatic headache are both relatively common and often overlooked conditions that have good potential to benefit from Physical Therapy. This course will cover how to recogonize and effectively manage both conditions.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify diagnostic criteria for CGH and PTH
- Identify medical resources and interventions for appropriate referral
- Identify key findings of a PT exam for CGH and PTH
- Identify evidence-based PT interventions for CGH and PTH
Derek Haugen
PT, DPT, OCS
Derek Haugen has been practicing invarious outpatient settings since 2010. He has worked at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System since 2016 where he is a member of the Comprehensive Pain Center staff. He is board certified in Orthopedics.
Deborah Hudleston
MD
Dr. Hudleston is a board-certified pain physician and physiatrist. Her pain fellowship was through the University of Minnesota. She works at the Minneapolis VA in the Comprehensive Pain Center.
Laura Richardson
PT
Laura is a PT who works at the Minneapolis VA with the TBI team. She is board certified in Geriatrics.
Course Instructions
