      • Develop awareness of the full CPG lifecycle, from inception to publication to implementation and updating.

Sandra Kaplan

Dr. Sandra Kaplan PT, PhD, FAPTA is a Professor and Vice-Chair, Dept of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences, Rutgers University, NJ. She has Inguide's Level 2 Clinical Practice Guideline (CPG) Methodologist Certification. Interests include evidence-based practice (EBP), knowledge translation, and clinical outcome measures, especially in pediatric rehabilitation.  She trains CPG teams for the APTA, is an APTA Orthopaedics CPG Advisory Panel member, oversees CPG development for the APTA Pediatrics, and co-authored the DPT Education EBP Curriculum Guidelines. She is lead author on the Congenital Muscular Torticollis (CMT) CPG (2013,2018), a manual on CPG development (2013), and CPG co-author on: Acute Care Core Measures (2025), CMT (2024), Telerehabilitation in PT Practice (2024), 3-D Instrumented Gait Analysis (2024), and Developmental Coordination Disorder (2019). She has presented nationally and internationally on evidence-based practice and CPGs.
