Oluwatoyosi Owoeye

BPT, MS, PhD

Dr. Oluwatoyosi (Olu) Owoeye (BPT, MS, PhD) is a sports physical therapist, injury epidemiologist and an implementation scientist. He is an assistant professor at the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training at Saint Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri, United States where he directs the Translational Injury Prevention Lab. Dr. Owoeye is a deputy editor of the British Journal of Sports Medicine and has over 55 peer-reviewed publications in top sports medicine and sports physical therapy journals. His research focuses on sports and exercise injury prevention, musculoskeletal health and knowledge translation towards enhancing the safety and wellbeing of athletes and active individuals worldwide. His research work has been supported by several competitive grants, including the NBA, General Electric, International Olympic Committee, Canadian MSK Research Network, and a sub-award from the National Institutes of Health.
