(AOE-TeamBasedLearning-Dec2023) This presentation will discuss the characteristics and learning preferences of current Doctor of Physical Therapy students, components of Team-based Learning (TBL), evidence on the impact of TBL in healthcare education, and best practices for integrating this active learning approach into DPT instruction.

(AOE-UTILIZINGABRIEFTRAINING-NOV2023) This brief training module was created to guide novice CIs in the process of orientation, feedback, student/site visit expectations, assessment tool use and grading, and the importance of unique exposures during the clinical experience. Implementation of this training module is in its early stages. We intend to develop a future survey of CIs that will help to clarify and determine the usefulness and any modifications that may be needed to the training module.

(AOE-OCT2023) This webinar will explore how to create effective PowerPoint presentations using an evidence-based approach for designing multimedia instruction. Mayer’s Principles of Multimedia Learning will be presented and examples of how to incorporate these principles to redesign PowerPoint slides in physical therapy education will be provided.
